Praise You Jesus!

You made Your birthday party a grand success! On Saturday, December 5, 2009 over 100 children (plus half as many again parents) gathered at the youth facility across from the apartments on Pitner in Spring Branch for the annual Christmas party for those kids who study the Bible on Fridays with "Miss Daisy." And it can be truly be said that a good time was had by all. The facility was decorated with the love of Jesus in the hearts of the volunteers.

We send a special thank you to Bruce, Belinda and Evin Kuhrt, for coordinating the preparation of the gifts - collecting financial donations (most out their own pocket), buying the gifts, preparing the gift bags, transporting them to the party, and handing them out.

We want to thank those of you who contributed to the party directly through giving the finances for the gifts, and we thank those of you who contributed finances through Everlasting Love Ministries. Your love gift was meaningful in being able to send out the love of Jesus to those who need to hear of God's offer of salvation by grace through faith in His Son.

• We thank pastor Maxwell and his family for the messages and music.
• We thank Phil & Anita Woodruff, Teresa Silva, Elsa Marquez, Diego Bello, Amanda Guevara, Monica Lee, Doris Bello, Amanda Caple, Gardenia Arroyo and Rodolfo Bocanegra who came and helped with the kids and parents at the party - you were blessed and you were a blessing.
• We thank the Rutherfords for the oranges that were given to the families in need.

There were some extra gifts that were left over, and they were given to a Hispanic Church that was in need - God knew why there were to be extra gifts, and He knew where they were to go. Our God is amazing! It truly was a wonderful party that was made possible by many people.

Of course it was all made possible by the amazing gift of life that God offers to all mankind through His Son Jesus. And now we look again to God to see what He leads us to be involved in. We continue to be excited to know that He invites us to participate with Him as He works His will here on earth. May God's richest blessings go out to you for the rest of this year as we all celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
